Waves are Wednesdays

Folks: I can’t say it enough. THANK YOU. And since I can’t say it enough, I will say it a lot. THANK YOU.

I’m excited as all get-out about The Deans List. Last week I was on vacation (technically a staycation), and while I wasn’t hanging out with my family, shoveling snow, or doing the dishes…I was working on this. This project, this creative outlet, this way to share beauty and authenticity with the whole wide world. It was such a beautiful glimpse at what I hope is the future.

And it wouldn’t be possible without you.

Five years ago, I got into photography because I wanted to capture the beauty of the world around me. I didn’t really give much thought to what I wanted to do with it though, other than share it on Facebook for my friends and family members.

Eventually I felt like I wanted to do more with it than that, so I created a Facebook page called ‘Waves are Words’ (or maybe it was Waves and Words…those early days were wild, man…) and eventually, people started to find me. People from all over the United States, and even some people from other countries. And those people got what I was doing. They understood the vibe and even though I don’t know what the heck I’m doing, they decided they wanted to come along for the ride.

Chances are pretty good that if you’re reading this, you’re one of those people. It’s humbling to think about that. I’m so grateful that you felt and feel that connection to the art that I create. I’m super pumped that you made the choice to sign up for The Deans List. We are only going one direction- forward and up (okay, maybe two directions). I can’t say ‘thank you enough’…but I will say it a lot.

THANK YOU.

See you around,

Jason
