Waves are Wednesdays

Folks- it’s so cold.

Audience, groaning together: “How cold is it, The Jason?”

It’s so cold that you and forty of your closest friends can walk/skate/bike out on the ice in Marquette’s Lower Harbor. I suppose if there’s an upside to a week plus of single digit high temperatures (including one long stretch of negative degree high temperatures), it’s being able to access the Ore Dock on foot, which only happens every few years or so for short periods of time.

What does this have to do with Waves are Wednesdays? Um…gosh, I’m not sure, actually.

Steps away from computer for literally three seconds

I got it! Thankfulness is not something that I do…it’s something that I am. It’s a way to approach life, whether things are good or bad. That doesn’t mean that I’m thankful for the bad things, but being able to reframe negative situations means that they don’t have full control over me.

And what I don’t have full control over is my quirkiness. Which is why I share a weekly newsletter with a tenuous alliterative connection between propagating dynamic disturbances and Odin as a way to express my gratitude.

Anywho, thank you, friends. I appreciate you greatly!

See you around,

Jason
