Waves are Wednesdays
Folks- I’m going to be 46 years old next month. Sloping down the back half of my 40s. I’ve been a Michigander this whole time. Lived in the Upper Peninsula since 2005. My point is, this ain’t my first rodeo with late winter/early spring.
BUT WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING???
Seriously. Last week, I was downstate and Spring is springing. Saturday night, back in da Yoop, I was out on the Black Rocks for sunset and comfortably rocking a t-shirt. I even wrote a sort of eulogy to February/March winter photos for crying out loud! Seriously. I made a bad joke about it and everything.
Somehow the next morning, winter returned. When I took Otter, our dog, for a walk, I was hit with single digit windchill, just 12 hours after basking in the glory of 60 degrees. And now, as I write this, we are under a winter storm warning that will start to “spread wet snow and the wintry mix spread across the U.P. overnight Tuesday”. Edit: Apparently after writing and scheduling, the storm warning was updated to start around 10:00 AM Wednesday.
Don’t get me wrong- I love snow, at any and all times. I just can’t take all this back and forth!
Anywho- thanks for being here and putting up with my shenanigans. I appreciate you greatly! If you like what I do, please consider sharing my work on social media. Chances are, there’s someone else out there who happens to have your impeccible taste 😎
See you around,
Jason
