Folks- I am 2/3 of the way through my first Christmas Craft show. It’s been an insane amount of work, but it’s going really well so far! I’ll give a more thorough follow-up next week, but I did want to say a couple things quick:
HUGEST of HUGE Thank you’s!!! to all the friends and family that showed up and showed out this weekend! Even just two days in, I’ve had so many of my people stop by, say ‘hi’, chat…and maybe most importantly (for the purposes of businessing), buy some stuff. 🥲 So humbling! Thanks everyone 😊😊 😊 I appreciate you!!!
I want to try something fun. A little experiment, as it were. Think back to why you signed up for my newsletter in the first place. It was probably because I’m handsome and funny, but try to look past that and think about why anyone ever signs up for newsletters ever. Because you wanted to know stuff about my business, right? And you’ve sat through months of biweekly newsletter emails that, let’s face it, sometimes don’t meet that standard. But it’s all been leading up to this moment. An obligatory ‘Good news/Bad news’ intro here. Good news- new art! Bad news- it’s fall stuff.
Look, it’s not my fault that I didn’t share enough fall photos early enough. Okay, so that is my fault. Still, as northern Michigan grapples with some (and this is weird to say given that’s it’s December) unseasonably cold weather, I am accepting zero responsibility and just sharing fall photos and you…kinda just have to take it?
As a sort of peace offering, will you accept this photo of some frosty leaves that I took on my car window early in November on a random morning where we just had some frost?
